An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk/Assistant.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Entering A/P invoices into our ERP system
Completing payments runs, bi-weekly
Communicating with suppliers regarding outstanding payments
Deposit customer payments
Entering customer payments into our ERP system
Contacting customers regarding outstanding balances
Credit checks
A/R Invoicing (backup)
Other tasks
Payroll (backup)
Monthly remittances
Assist with month-end journal entries
Other tasks as required
Qualifications and experience
1 - 3 years of accounting experience
Excellent English communication skills, written and oral
Data entry skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy when entering data
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
Self-motivated, and a desire to achieve personal/team goals
Proficient in computer software specifically Excel and Outlook
ERP experience an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
