Summary
We are looking for a Financial Solutions Manager to manage relationships with high-net-worth (“HNW”) and ultra high-net-worth (“UHNW”) clients, and to facilitate the process of establishing client life insurance policies while engaging with clients’ existing financial, accounting, and legal advisors.
In this key role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients after the handoff from the sales lead. You will manage the development of requisite insurance solutions, considering client-specific structural, insurance, and financial objectives based on the available suite of solutions offered by Stalwart. You will subsequently manage the client’s underwriting and solution implementation process from initial application to closing, including managing insurance models, client materials such as actuarial and legal opinions, financing, and other steps required for the closing and maintenance of policies. Subsequently, you will maintain constant engagement with your clients to ensure the appropriateness of the solutions, and then formulate and implement steps required for solution maintenance and amendment.

Your role will include:
- Developing client solutions within the context of their existing income, wealth, and overall objectives
- Ensuring clients’ complete understanding of the proposed solution, including the explanation of the decision-making process that established it as the most appropriate solution
- Facilitating the process of establishing insurance policies for clients, resulting in the closing of insurance transactions
- Managing and maintaining insurance models and other materials to accurately reflect the most up-to-date client information
- Supporting a designated portfolio of clientele, playing an integral role in business retention, and building upon customer relationships
- Managing the collection, organization, and tracking of client information from the pre-application phase to policy issuance
- Tracking the progress of applications through policy issuance, and following up as needed to collect additional information from third party service providers
- Providing exceptional customer service by identifying and resolving any issues or concerns clients may have during the insurance placement process
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on regulations and standards in the insurance industry
Required Skills or Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics or other related fields
- Five to seven (5-7) years of transaction closing experience in a field such as investment banking or corporate development
- CPA/CFA designations are a plus
- Experience within the Canadian insurance market is a plus
- Experience with underwriting administration is a plus
- Experience with insurance software is a plus
- Life insurance license is a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- A self-starter with problem-solving initiative and an ability to learn quickly
- Committed to producing meticulous, accurate, and thorough work product
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Salary and Benefits
- $110,000 - $130,000 base salary, with potential bonus and profit-sharing available based on individual performance
