We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.
Job Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming payments and maintaining positive relationships with our customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors overdue accounts; negotiates collection arrangements on overdue accounts.
- Reviews lists for delinquent accounts and prepares routine follow up.
- Maintains data input and updates on Syacc e.g. cash application, adjustments.
- Maintains Cash receipts documents, filing.
- Prepares account statements, reports, and other records e.g. accounts receivable, Process monthly billing for Resin Scrap.
- Processes any other customer debit/credit requests given by customer service.
- Prepares proforma invoices for any international prepay customers.
- Coordinates customer requests for certificates of Insurances.
- Aging reports & A/R reconciliation done at month-end.
- Provide Customer Service back up when required.
- Duties may include order entry, processing invoices and taking phone calls.
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
