HR Assistant

We ooperate between Canada, US and UK. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Calgary, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date
- Coordinate HR projects such as meetings, training, and development programs
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews for potential candidates
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings and scheduling interviews
Skills:
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and systems
- Ability to conduct effective interviews and assess candidate qualifications
- Knowledge of employee relations best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
