Job Title: Accounting Clerk AR/AP
Job Salary: CAD 20-23/hour
Job Description:
Providing Support to the Accounting Department:
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
Processing Transactions, Issuing Checks, and Updating Ledgers:
- Process financial transactions promptly and accurately, including issuing checks and updating ledgers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Preparing Financial Reports:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses on a regular basis.
- Compile data and generate reports to support decision-making and financial planning processes.
Assisting with Audits, Fact Checks, and Resolving Discrepancies:
- Support audit processes by providing documentation, conducting fact checks, and reconciling accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions promptly.
- Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Accounting.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting roles.
