Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Process bi-weekly payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends and provide insights to management
- Utilize Sage software to record financial transactions
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting Sage 50
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
