CHB Group is in search of a Senior Accountant. The successful applicant will report to the VP of Finance and help assist the accounting team in general duties where needed. As a Controller they will oversee the Finance team and assist with day-to-day transactions and queries. Ultimately, they will help our accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions, improving processes and innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Be a trusted, collaborative team player who will work closely with the VP of Finance and Ownership group
· Assist the VP of Finance with company month end and year end processing
· Report financial and operational results to internal stakeholders and assist with ad-hoc analysis and management reporting as required
· Prepare and update documentation of transaction and system processes
· Assist the organization in safeguarding company assets by reviewing, monitoring, and implementing controls and adopting best practices across all business entities
· Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including expense reports and bank reconciliations
· Coordinate and provide leadership to accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting staff
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- The Senior Accountant will have a solid background in accounting and proven experience in a similar position
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with a passion for making improvements to the business
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), financial processes, and regulations
- Above average proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
- Self-starter with strong problem solving analytical and organizational skills
- Self-confident and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize
Education / Training
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 3 – 5 years experience in a management role (preferred)

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
