We currently have an opening for a Payroll/Accounts Payable Administrator on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Payroll/Accounts Payable Administrator will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process Payroll
- Accounts Payable (CDN)
- Function in Accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable law
- Process employee sales
- Special assignments and projects from other departments as assigned
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process CDN Payable for EFT
- Process bank deposits
- Administration of Group Health Benefits and RRSP Program
- Compile payroll information and input into HRIS/Payroll (ADP) program, and verify
- Code and enter CDN invoices and packing slips
- Post invoices
Education and Experience
- Business Degree or Diploma in Accounting
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification or working towards
- 5-7 years of experience in Payroll, A/P, and A/R, knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central an asset
- Preference will be given to candidates with ADP Workforce Now experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
