We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper / office assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
**Duties:**
- Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and answering phones
- Support accounting functions including account reconciliation, collections, and analysis
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Manage accounts receivable and assist with budgeting tasks
- Utilize QuickBooks effectively for financial transactions
- Provide clerical support to the team
- Support our sales and customer service team as needed
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, and other accounting software
- Experience in payroll processing and account reconciliation
- Strong clerical skills and attention to detail
- Can use Microsoft Office and Excel efficiently
- You have a professional demeanour and are punctual
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with budgeting processes
- Familiarity with transport industry / crossing trucks over the boarder
- Ability to analyze accounts effectively
