HR Administrator
Location: Ajax, ON
Term: Contract Position; 3 months (extendable)
Shift: Monday to Friday; 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: $25-$27 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
- Conducts HR portion of 1st day of new employee orientation, and creates orientation packages.
- Ensures proper accuracy of documentation and compliance with HR internal controls
- Develops, prepares and distributes communications on behalf of HR regarding upcoming events, organizational announcements etc.
- Maintains all bulletin boards throughout the facility
- Ensures all HR-related documents are received from managers and admins
- Working with HRIS systems in place including Vantage, SAP, SELIA, etc. and responsible for the data integrity and development of complex reports
- Employee Status Change form processing, performs data entry on all relevant areas needed to ensure accurate current employee data in HRIS & systems (inputs all new hires & ensures compensation adjustments are in at least 1 day before payroll processing)
- Administers Induction Passport/Survey process
- General administrative functions including consolidating weekly highlights report, employment verifications, 5S, GPI Inspections.
- Ensures all SAP invoicing functions are completed and processed in a timely manner
- Supports the administration of the Keyscan and employee badging system

Specialized Knowledge:
- Proficient in software systems and preferred experience with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of practical and professional HR systems, policies and processes
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Word and Power Point)
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience
Develops skills through structured mandates
Refers to existing procedures for solving routine or common problems
Receives instructions, directives and guidance from other team members
Education: Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
