The Property and Leasing Administrator will work closely with the property management and accounting teams to fulfill day-to-day as well as recurring needs. The candidate would be responsible for various residential leasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and property administrative tasks in the City of Kamloops and nearby municipality. Prior experience is an asset but not required. We will provide full training for any assigned tasks for this in the office position.
Responsibilities:
Property Administration:
· Input new accounting/lease data in a timely manner for new tenants, lease renewals, rent increases and tenant move outs
· Supporting role for payments, collections, and receivables
· Manage and respond to general day-to-day inquiries from tenants
· Organize and maintain filing systems for leases, tenant information, and other documentation
· Assist Property Manager in creating and issuing notices, researching projects, filing evictions, and populating spreadsheets to analyze information.
· Maintain an up-to-date property performance and assist in AR collection
· Various projects as needed
Vacancy Management:
· Monitor & review vacancy reports with head office on an on-going basis
· Find high quality tenants & keep vacancies to a minimum
· Post & monitor rental ads
· Answer rental inquiry line & set up showing appointments
· Conduct unit showings with prospective tenants
· Assist prospective tenants with filling out leasing paperwork
· Assist the building manager in the nearby municipality remotely

Qualifications:
· 1-3 years’ experience in a high-volume data entry / administration role
