Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll practices and processes for a large non profit.
Duties:
-Oversee all aspects of employee payroll, personnel files, personnel injuries, reporting and documentation for all; maintain upto date requirements for WorksafeBC, BCGEU collective agreement and CARF requirements.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field
- Proven working experience as Manager of Payroll Department
- Knowledge of Payroll systems
