Vantage is in search for an experienced bookkeeper to manage our finances. You will work alongside our accountant and perform daily data entry to keep the books up to date.
An excellent candidate has proven experience as a bookkeeper and is able to solve problems and report any possible discrepancies.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include
· Data entry of daily expenses and invoices
· Reconciliation of accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial statements
· Balancing the bank
· Preparing GST/QST reports
· Keeping record of expenses and invoices
· Preparing financial reports
Requirements
· Proven experience as a bookkeeper
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems.
· Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
· Knowledge with Google Workspace
· Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong verbal and communication skills
· Detail oriented
· Able to work independently and with a team
· Self-starter
· Problem solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
