Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Ingwe Immigration. This role is crucial in managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Working closely with our operations team, the Bookkeeper will ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Financial Transactions: Handle all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable and CRA tax remittances
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Communication: Collaborate with various departments to improve financial processes and optimize costs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with finance regulations and accounting software (Knowledge of Xero is mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent numeracy skills with an aptitude for numbers.
- Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper or an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance) is preferred.
