Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Book Keeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The individual must work in the Selwyn location.
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts
- Utilize accounting software such as Work Easy and Sage for financial transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and financial auditing procedures
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
