Job Description: Accounting Assistant
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office administration and will be able to assist the Finance and Payroll Manager with a range of accounting and financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records, collect, and monitor outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full.
- Generate invoices and account statements. Perform account reconciliations for AR.
- Manage accounts payable, prepare and send the invoices to vendors.
- Verify and reconcile bank transactions and resolve any discrepancies, post journal entries and complete deposits.
- Enter and maintain financial data in Excel and other accounting software.
- Assist with payroll preparation by printing and copying staff’s time sheets.
- Record staff’s vacation and sick times after process the payroll
- Perform other office administration tasks as assigned by the Finance and Payroll Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
