Bookkeeper

As an integral part of the finance team reporting to the Senior Bookkeeper, responsibilities include accurately recording financial transactions, issuing cheques, and reconciling bank statements. This role also entails maintaining organized financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and assisting in financial reporting. Additionally, seamless integration of bookkeeping with administrative tasks is crucial, supporting efficient office management, handling general administrative duties, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance overall efficiency and compliance with administrative policies.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a MUST.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle competing deliverables with accurate/timely delivery under tight timelines.
- 1-2+ year work experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Familiarity with popular accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
