Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily office operations and staff
- Perform employee performance reviews
- Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment, maintenance and procurement
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for directors
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and forms
- Assist in budgeting and financial management tasks
- Utilize Sage50 to manage financial transactions and generate reports
- Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Provide administrative support to the team as required
- Answer the phone, greet visitors, and provide excellent etiquette
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office manager, or similar capacity
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with budgeting principles and financial management tasks
- Knowledge of Sage50 or other accounting software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work load effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with direction
- Knowledge of basic human resource practises is a plus
