Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll processing including basic regulatory compliance (remittance payments, monthly CRA reports)
- A/R and A/P management
- Process invoices into accounting software with accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements to keep accounts current
- Analyze and follow up on AR accounts
- Preparation of month end bank and merchant reconciliations
- Process inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and adjustment entries
- Reconciliation and management of corporate credit cards
- Providing support with various research, project and data analysis when required
- Administer employee time sheet data in support of payroll administration
- ROE preparation and submission
- WCB preparation and submission
- Ensure all purchase orders correlate with invoices and track account balances
- Maintain historical records by filing documents in an organized system
- Prepare other financial, statistical and accounting reports where required
- Data entry into QuickBooks
- Fiscal year-end preparation
Qualifications:
- Accounting Diploma or Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience with full cycle bookkeeping
- 2+ years of experience processing payroll
- Capable and confident using QuickBooks
- Capable and confident using the Microsoft Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of focus
- Professional telephone and email manner
- Ability to prioritize workload and multitask
- Ability to work independently with a track record of completing tasks accurrately and on time
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must be able to work on-site at our Vancouver office
