Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team. Key responsibilities include:
- Recording daily transactions in the bookkeeping software
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Recording daily sales reports
- Balancing cash accounts
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Processing and running payroll using QuickBooks, RBC Express, and other banking systems as needed
- Managing accounts payable (e.g., paying suppliers), printing cheques, and sending wire transfers
- Preparing Record of Employment for terminated employees
- Assisting with annual budgeting
- Preparing month-end reports for clients and investors
- Generating year-end reports
- Handling government reports and remittances
- Performing other related duties as required
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated and capable of managing your workload to meet deadlines
- Independent and proactive in work tasks
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 3 year
- QuickBooks: 3 year
Schedule:
- Hours: 8-hour shifts
- Days: Monday to Friday (9 am – 5 pm)
- Work Environment: Hybrid (office and remote) **subject to change**
