ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ADMINISTRATOR

Job/Position Summary:
Industrial Scaffold Services L.P. provides scaffolding services, rentals, and associated services to industrial customers throughout Western Canada. We are a growing company and with this growth new job opportunities are frequently opening up. At this time, we are currently looking for a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Administrator to fill the following duties and responsibilities.
Work Performed:
➢ Ensure all invoicing back up is correct and timely
➢ Willing to work with the field supervisors to ensure their timesheets and rental agreements are accurate and arrive into head office weekly
➢ Accountable for organizing the backup and creating the invoice
➢ Verify invoices are accurate for math, spelling, contacting information, and other details, then sending the invoice out with the necessary back up
➢ Monitor customer accounts and enjoy the challenge of performing collections
➢ Effectively handle issues in a timely manner
➢ Work with customers to ensure billing meets their requirements
➢ Responsible for preparing the month-end accruals and WIP entries
➢ Reconcile the field timesheets to the field payroll
➢ Will be expected to meet deadlines as laid out by the Director of Office Operations
➢ Assisting with reporting when required
➢ And, any other duties as required by the Director of Office Operations
Skills/Work Experience:
➢ Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
➢ Experience working with a financial computer system
➢ Mathematically inclined
➢ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
➢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
➢ Strong computer skills, particularly the use of Excel, Microsoft Office, and Word
➢ Exceptional written and oral communication skills
➢ Post-secondary education an asset
➢ Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience working in Accounts Receivable
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday
➢ Full-time Monday through Friday, 40 hours per work, with overtime on an as needed basis
Probationary Period:
➢ 3 months

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
