Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily office operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting financial processes. This position requires proficiency in various software and a strong understanding of administrative tasks.
Duties
- Perform reception and administrative duties, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, photocopying and scanning documents.
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including tracking employees' time, filing and maintaining office supplies.
- Handle accounts receivable and assist with payroll processing.
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Data entry of financial transactions using accounting software.
- Ensure timely submissions of various tax filings.
- Provide administrative support to management as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with clerical duties related to office administration is beneficial.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion to helping others.
- Fluent in Cantonese would be an asset
