Reporting directly to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, is integral to supporting the sales organization’s financial operations and strategic decision-making processes. This role assists in driving financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts, contributing to the achievement of financial and operational excellence across KORE’s value chain. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and provide insightful financial evaluations that enhance business performance and profitability.
Core Accountabilities
Financial
- Assist in developing the annual operating plan (AOP) and monthly forecasts, ensuring alignment with updated sales strategies and market conditions.
- Ensure monthly financial results are accurately reported under US GAAP by proposing necessary accruals and journal entries, maintaining internal controls, and adhering to audit guidelines. Identify and implement process improvements as needed.
- Prepare and publish monthly and quarterly financial reports and executive-level summaries, highlighting key variances, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance.
- Lead the management and optimization of OPEX investments/budgeting and resource allocation to improve financial performance.
- Lead data-driven financial analysis and develop business cases focused on identifying commercial finance opportunities aligned with KORE’s profitability goals
- Support the financial evaluation of sales performance, initiatives, and strategic investments, including profitability and ROI assessments.
Customer
- Partner with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams by providing analytical support for the forecasting process, effectively aligning resources and investments leading to the achievement of company objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver comprehensive financial and operational reviews, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations to senior leaders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Delivery, Marketing, and Operations, to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the Corporate FP&A team to enhance financial accuracy and ensure alignment with KORE’s overall strategic objectives.
Business Process
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance reporting and forecasting processes through automation, system improvements, or policy updates, driving efficiency and improving the impact of financial analysis.
- Develop and document policies and procedures to standardize reporting practices across business units, enabling consistent data handling and analysis.
Learning and Development
- Promote a culture of accuracy and accountability within the FP&A team, with a strong emphasis on data integrity and financial transparency.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and alignment on consolidation and reporting objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytic field of study plus a business approach; Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics, Economics or other relevant fields.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Consulting, or Analytics.
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite & Salesforce or other ERP/CRMs).
Skills/Competencies
- Commercially minded and resilient in changing business environments.
- Proficient with visualization and query tools such as Power Query, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and senior leadership levels.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve without compromising accuracy or meeting deadlines.
- Pursuing or holding a professional accounting or finance designation (CPA, CFA, or MBA) is an asset.
- Familiarity with accounting principles (US GAAP) is an asset.
- Strong engagement skills to communicate effectively across all levels of diverse teams.
- Experience in a business partnership role, supporting senior leaders across Sales and/or Manufacturing/Operations environments.
- Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning and reporting platforms is an asset.
- Willingness to develop strategic skills and support key FP&A initiatives and executive-level projects.
