As an integral part of our financial operations, you will navigate and focus on the smooth handling of day-to-day accounting tasks, contributing to our continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Accurately process and manage employee payroll on a regular biweekly schedule
- Accounts Receivable: Implement AR processes, including client invoicing and timely systematic collections
- Accounts Payable: Manage vendor payments, track expenses, and ensure timely bill payments
- Invoice Creation: Prepare, navigate, send, and track client invoices with precision and professionalism
- Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly line items, analyze current accounts in QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial records
- System Development: Communicate and track internal ongoing sales and out of scope tasks to ensure all retainers, by project and on the fly invoicing gets effectively captured, tracked and accrued into monthly invoices
- Scalability: Build systems and automations to enhance the finance dept against the current scalability/growth of the business
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of bookkeeping and/or Jr accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks a must, nice to have experience using the Dext app
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, AR, AP, and account reconciliation
- Excellent organizational and systematic skills with true attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Using Artificial Intelligence to development a seamless future health for the Finance department
