Accounts Receivable Administrator and Credit Control

Summary:

The Accounts Receivable/Credit Control is an integral member of the accounting team, which requires an understanding of the industry and the bridging of the gap between sales & accounting. Ongoing communication is essential in this position, and it is important that all major decisions involve the Controller as well as other affiliated persons. The Accounts Receivable/Credit Control performs direct verbal and written communication with customers, Sales manager and the Controller and this would usually involve coordinating information from relevant persons. Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Process invoices/production, prototypes, tooling· Process credit memos· Bank preparation and deposit· Cash application· Credit checks/management· Customer set-up and maintenance· Customer service and collection calls· Maintenance of all A/R files· Shipping issues (correction of posted shipments in Navision)· Customer correspondences· Days outstanding reports· Monitoring shipped not invoiced reports

Performance Measurement Based on Goas and Objectives· Timely preparation of information coupled with open communication of the ability to meet deadlines· Self-initiative to provide appropriate information to controller, with necessary detail.· Well organized, accurate and properly formatted information.· Ability to coordinate information flow appropriately through the proper channels· Documentation and maintenance of customer information or that related to.

Qualifications

· A minimum of 2 years industry experience and accounting education (BA).

· Microsoft Dynamics Navision is required

· Very good written and oral communication skills.

· Well demonstrated leadership and problem-solving techniques.

· Sound Computer skills within accounting software and familiarity in excel & word software’s.

· Must acquire at least 16 hrs if continuing education specifically relating to job requirements per year.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
