Under the Sun Groweries Inc. is looking for an organized, detail oriented, driven individual to join our growing team. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the functionality of the office.

The right candidate will have excellent computer skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will thrive on organizing many tasks throughout any given workday. Understanding bookkeeping and accounting for the company is a must.

The right candidate will possess the following skills:

- Knowledge of accounting practices, payroll, account management and invoicing is required.

- Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft programs

- Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

- Ability to multitask with excellent time management capabilities.

- Can work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment

- Excellent communication skills and work well in a team.

Responsibilities included in this position are, but not limited to:

- General office duties including answering phones, scheduling, mail retrieving/delivery/ sorting.

- Data entry & filing pertaining to various stages of cannabis production

- Inventory ordering/maintenance for both office and production spaces

- Daily bookkeeping activities such as: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank recs and year end

- Data entry of production and cultivation activities

- Filing of CRA yearly licenses and monthly reports

Qualifications:

- Degree/Certificate in Office Management/Administration

- 2-5 years' experience in a similar role

- Experience with QuickBooks, Cannabis Industry or Construction Industry considered an asset

A vehicle is needed as we are located 20 minutes outside of Saskatoon, Sk.

Compensation based on qualifications of selected candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
