We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
Utilize accounting software, QuickBooks.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, invoices, and receipts.
Respond to inquiries from vendors and clients regarding payment status or discrepancies.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
Familiarity with QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with vendors, clients, and team members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
