Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team. This position is currantly part time, Monday to Wednesday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires proficiency in Quick books software, as well as strong data entry skills. The Payroll Clerk will play a key role in maintaining employee records and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.

Responsibilities

Process payroll for all employees in a timely manner using payroll software such as Quick books
Ensure accurate data entry of employee hours, deductions, and other payroll-related information.
Maintain up-to-date employee records, including changes in status, pay rates, and benefits enrollment.
Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed to support the finance department.
Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as required.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies related to payroll processing.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in payroll systems such as Quick books is highly desirable.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with accounting software and basic accounting principles.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
