Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring that all accounts are reconciled in a timely manner. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Duties

Process incoming payments and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
Manage accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
Utilize accounting software such for data entry and reporting.
Assist with accounts payable tasks as needed to support the department.
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
Demonstrate strong phone etiquette while negotiating payment terms with clients.

Experience

Proficiency in accounting software is essential.
Prior experience in accounts receivables and payables or related financial roles is preferred.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and techniques.
Excellent math skills for verifying financial information and calculations.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
