We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to fill a full-time, remote role as our current team member transitions to a new opportunity. Our team, which includes four bookkeepers and one administrator, is expanding, and we are excited to welcome a new member.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and manage data using Hubdoc and other sales integrations

- Post transactions and manage records in QuickBooks

- Record sales from platforms like Shopify and Lightspeed

- Process payroll and perform bank reconciliations

- Handle sales tax and prepare GST/PST filings

- Potentially manage bill payments for clients, especially NPOs

Must Haves:

- 2 years of QuickBooks experience

- Remote work experience (BC or Alberta preferred, Ontario considered)

- Strong written communication and autonomous work skills

Assets:

- Experience with Shopify, Square, and/or Lightspeed

- Familiarity with NPOs and payroll setup

Growth Opportunities:

- Potential to advance to Payroll Specialist/Champion or Senior Bookkeeper

- Possibility of evolving into a Bookkeeping Manager role

Working Hours:

- 9am-5pm (core hours: 10am-2pm PST)

- Overtime paid hourly
