Job Title: Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will have following responsibilities:

Prepare Compilation Engagement (NTR) files
Prepare corporation tax returns (T2) and income tax provision in NTR file.
Prepare and review of T4, T5, EHT, WSIB, GST/HST, NR4/6 and other related filings
Prepare and review personal tax returns (T1) and respond to CRA inquiries for client’s T1 file
Takes ownership of assigned work, ensuring monthly and annual deadlines are met consistently, and ensuring all communication with clients is timely and professional.

Demonstrate your potential to take on more managerial responsibilities such as coaching junior staff or reviewing work done by junior associates.
Identify a focus for your public accounting practice that you are interest in and grow your expertise in that specific area through on-the-job learning & active professional development.

Your experience and education

Self-motivated and effective working style.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
The ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Prior small and medium-sized accounting firm experience

Training will be provided as required to a suitable candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $72,000 - $85,000 per year
