Sas and Ing Immigration Law Centre is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper for a fast-paced, busy downtown immigration law practice. Must have strong communication skills and be detail-oriented. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is a must!

The position requires bookkeeping services for approximately 20-25 hours per week to oversee our company’s day-to-day financial and payroll requirements.

As our Junior Bookkeeper, you will be required to perform the following duties:

Oversee all payroll records and maintain manual and computerized bookkeeping records.
Post journal entries and prepare bank reconciliations.
Oversee all accounts receivable and payables.
Prepare and manage client statements and records.
Perform all necessary banking duties.
Prepare monthly and annual accounting records.
Filing GST and PST returns.

Job requirements:

Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in bookkeeping/accounting and several years of bookkeeping experience. Experience with PC Law and Cosmolex and working in a law firm setting is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.

Wages:

Wage range ($20-$30 per hour): Commensurate with experience

Work Location: Downtown Vancouver with convenient access to SkyTrain
