Position: Accounts Payable/Payroll Assistant

Location: Fort St. John

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable/Payroll Assistant to support the AP and payroll functions with accuracy and efficiency. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring timely payments.
Support the reconciliation of vendor statements and help resolve discrepancies.
Assist in payroll data entry and validation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with maintaining accurate records for AP and payroll.
Support month-end closing procedures related to AP and payroll.
Respond to basic inquiries related to payments and payroll from internal teams and vendors.
Collaborate with the finance team to assist with financial reporting tasks.
