Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) – Senior Manager

Ounsted & Company is a mid-sized, non-audit, accounting firm in located on Chatterton Way in Victoria BC. We offer a positive, low-stress work environment with limited overtime in April. Office closes Fridays in July and August and between Christmas and New Year’s.

Qualifications

CPA Designation
10 years public practice accounting experience
Proficiency in Caseware and Profile/Cantax
Strong understanding of Canadian tax rules and ASPE
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Management and leadership attributes
Detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Reviewing Compilation and Review Engagement files
Preparing and reviewing personal tax and Estate files
Supervising students and other staff
Communications with clients and government agencies

Compensation

Annual salary of $120,000 – $150,000 and will be dependent on skills and experience
Bonuses also paid in April and December
