For well rounded Senior Manager out there seeking a rewarding career in public practice. You'll be working closely with the Partner and other managers in a senior role.

This is a call for an experienced CPA already in a senior manager role looking to become part of the growth but in a small firm setting.

What to Expect of the Role:
- Managing and owning client relationships by working with diverse client base of small to medium sized businesses who require tax, accounting and/or assurance related services (such as reviews and audits).

- You play an active role in managing workflow, compliance deadlines, hiring/staffing, mentoring, coaching.

- You'll be independently and effectively manage and review compilation, review, and audit engagements,

- Identifying and resolving accounting, audit, and tax issues.

- Helping the team resolve engagement and/or client issues, assist with team training, and operational excellence.

- Managing client relationships and customer service, and helping the firm grow its accounting practice.

As a senior member of the team, you'll have autonomy to bring the best of your skillsets to this small yet dynamic firm. You'll quickly become a trusted advisor to our clients in no time.

- Experience in CaseWare/Caseview and TaxPrep is an asset.

- You're not afraid to take on new challenges.

What you Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 7 years of public practice experience

- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA).

- Solid understanding of personal and corporate tax planning or equivalent (such as nearing completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course).

- Well rounded in the area of CSRS 4200, ASPE Review Standards, and ASNPO Accounting Standards.

About the firm:

Small boutique firm with a total of 5 office presence in BC (Kelowna/Summerland) and ON (Ottawa/Kemptville/Perth), yet small enough that you'll work with clients across Canada. This role will be based on our Ottawa office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$118,000.00 per year
