Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper/AP & AR Clerk

Location: Canada (Preference for candidates located in British Columbia)

Compensation: $24-30/hour, depending on experience

Hours: 20-25 hours per week

Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data
Process payroll and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain comprehensive financial records
Assist in budgeting and financial reporting processes
Guide and lead improvements in financial processes and procedures
Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
Minimum 1 year experience with SAP/Ariba
