Just Bite Me Meals is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Prepare and maintain budgets, monitoring expenditures and variances.
Process payroll accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Utilize accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks for financial reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making processes.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
Maintain organized financial records, ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible.

Experience

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting department.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting, bank reconciliation, and payroll processing.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is essential.
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
