Global Citrus Group Inc., is a privately held company and is your international citrus specialist located in Brantford, Ontario. As a leading service provider representing top growers from around the world, and the premiere supplier of citrus for grocery and big box stores in the country, we are looking for the right individual to strengthen and become part of our Accounting/Finance Team.

Position: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Associate

The Accounts Payable/Receivable Associate will primarily be responsible for Accounts Payable related duties, but given the growth of the company, additional duties will be added to assist other areas of the accounting team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, entering vendor invoices, organizing check runs, creating invoices to customers, and following up on outstanding accounts receivable. We nurture a team environment and would like someone that is willing to jump into anything that may come your way. You will be working alongside the Accounting Manager, Director of Finance, and the rest of the Senior Management Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

All tasks associated with accounts recievable.
All tasks associated with accounts payable.
Financial analytics and reporting as required.
General accounting duties as required.
General office administrative duties as required.
Dealing with customer enquiries.
Labour Reconcilliations

QUALIFICATIONS

Successfully completed a 2-year diploma in Business, preferably in Accounting.
Must have 3-4 years work experience in an accounting department.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Knowledge of Google Sheets.
Data entry skills are essential.
Must possess the ability to perform duties with a high-level of accuracy within an established time frame. Time management skills are fundamental to this position.
Proven ability to prioritize workload.
Proven written and oral communication and customer service skills are required.
Must be a self starter but also have the ability to work as a member of a team at all times.
Must be highly adaptable and willing to grow and take on additional workload.
Should have your own transportation.
