Glen Armstrong Construction Ltd. is seeking a reliable, dedicated, confident, friendly, and enthusiastic team member.

Full-time position with competitive wages & benefits.
Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours/week).
Additional training for advancement and growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

General office administration and support for managers and field staff.
Accounts payable (including issuance of cheque runs).
Accounts receivable (issuance of invoices including collections).
Preparation and submission of bi-weekly payroll.
Management of fuel accounts & transactions.
Assist in contract management.
Maintain and assist with Safety Program.
Occasional retail culvert sales/ordering & inventory tracking.

Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or higher.
Experience: 1 – 4 years minimum in a predominantly paperless office environment. Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently navigate and manage digital workflows and electronic documentation systems.
Knowledge of contracts & MSA’s is considered an asset.
Strong work ethic s and ability to effectively work with a team and independently.
Exceptional time management including the ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and meet important deadlines with prioritize and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is considered an asset.
Experience with Sage 50 Accounting program is considered an asset, though training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
