RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

Performance Expectations

Processing of compilation, review, and audit engagements in a disciplined and organized way, within fixed timelines
Oversee bookkeeping and support tasks
Prepare tax filings and correspondence
Professionalism, confidentiality and integrity in all tasks and communications
Commitment to ongoing Professional Development in core and related subject matter

Qualifications

A desire to become a CPA, enrollment in courses leading up to CPA is preferred
High computer literacy
Understanding of payroll, bookkeeping and record keeping practices.
Experience working with or exposure to, accounting and tax software such as CaseWare, Tax Prep, QuickBooks, Sage or Xero is beneficial.
Experience in preparing T4s and T5s is beneficial
Currently authorized to work in Canada
Prior Canadian public practice experience is a benefit

Pay: $47,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
