Job Summary
We are seeking a freelance Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a keen eye for detail to support our financial operations effectively.

Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
Utilize accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage for efficient record-keeping.
Prepare financial statements and reports as needed for management review.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is essential.
Strong understanding of account reconciliation, payroll processing, and accounts payable functions.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of budgeting principles is a plus.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members when necessary.
