Are you passionate about numbers and thrive in a continuous learning environment? Our Accounting & Finance department is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst. If you excel at managing automated AP systems, processing invoices, and creating expense reports, and you're eager to collaborate with fellow number enthusiasts, we want you on our team. You'll also get the chance to grow your skills by engaging in entry-level accounting tasks like reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and assisting with month-end reporting.

What you'll do:

Manage automated accounts payable system that processes invoices, corporate credit card charges, and expense reports.
Act as a backup in the preparation of semi-monthly payroll entries.
Reviewing invoices for proper approvals and account coding to make sure it is correct and in line with the budget.
Assisting with month-end close and meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
Responding to information requests and assisting with audits.
Help with process documentation when processes change.
Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
Assisting the accounting manager as needed.
Ad-hoc duties as requested.

What you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
2+ years of accounts payable experience.
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Must have intermediate Excel skills.
Good problem-solving and time management skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Additional preferred requirements

Exposure to different types of currencies, such as CAD, USD, EUR, AUS.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (NetSuite, Ramp).
Experience using an automated accounts payable system.
